Hi, I'm Kim Ward, director of youth activities at CCC. Our youth group meets twice a week  from
6:45pm - 8:45pm at the Ella Noyes Youth Center, just South of the church. Activities include Bible studies, games, movies, food, and more.

Our theme verse is: Jeremiah 24:7(MSG)

7"And I'll give them a heart to know me, God. They'll be my people and I'll be their God, for they'll have returned to me with all their hearts."

With our theme in mind, on Monday nights we have a "serious" night devoted to spending time getting to know God, who He is, and what His desire is for us as His people. While we still have some fun activities, it's geared more towards those who have already begun a relationship with Him or those who are earnestly seeking Him.

Wednesdays are an outreach/fun night with the goal being to introduce those who don't know Him, to our amazing God. It's a chance for us to go back to the basics of who God is and his desire for all of us to have a relationship with Him. We have games, music, singing, and a short talk. About once a month on Wednesdays we have a movie night.

We have also started to attend the Awaken youth conference held in Atascadero in November of each year. This is an amazing local event designed to help challenge the students in their relationship with God and awaken a desire to know and serve Him more.

Some of our events like movie nights, all nighters', and game days are chances for students to invite their friends and get them involved with youth group so that they will want to come back and learn more about God. Our retreats, youth camps, and conferences are for our students to get energized to know God and really be challenged to follow Him with all their hearts. With all the events the goal is to reach students with God's love and to encourage them to grow in a relationship with Him.

We've also had overnighters at CCC, a great hotdog & hamburger feast put on by some of the BBQ specialists at church, and other activities. .

In 2003, we took a trip to Tijuana and built houses for the less fortunate.

Check us out. If you want a place to hang out, hear some great stories, play some games and eat snacks, we are here for YOU!
