Dr. Dale James began serving as pastor of CCC in July of  2008.  Dale and his wife, Bonnie, spent the last 17 years in Whittier, CA where Dale served as a Sr. Pastor for 10 years and Church Resource Director for CB Southern California for over 5 years.  CBSC and EFCA are sister associations of churches.  Pastor Dale focused his ministry with CBSC counseling, coaching and consulting with church leaders through trial, trauma and transition and seeking to cultivate healthy churches.  He also served as interim pastor to 4 churches during that time.  Prior to their move to California, Dale served as pastor to two churches in Oregon.  The James family also includes three adult children.  Dale is a graduate of Biola University.  He also earned two graduate degrees from Western Seminary, a Master of Divinity in 1984 and a Doctor of Ministries in 1999.  Dale and Bonnie are excited to serve the communities of California’s central coast, seeking to provide transformational biblical teaching and holistic life development to those God brings across their path.

Loretta LaForm is a long time member of Cayucos Community Church and presently holds the job of church secretary. Among her duties she schedules meetings, coordinates room use and prepares the church bulletin. She'll be the helpful voice on the other end of that telephone when you call.
